Abigail Morris Interiors is a Chicago-based boutique interior design studio specializing in full-service residential and commercial renovations, with a focus on historic and older homes. I approach design with a real respect for how people live in their homes day to day - balancing character, function, and feeling to create spaces that feel layered, personal, and lived in.

To me, great design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about how it feels to live in over time, and how well it supports the rhythm of everyday life. The best interiors come from clarity, thoughtful decision-making, and a process that feels considered from the very beginning.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with clients who care deeply about how their home feels and functions - and who want a clear point of view guiding the process. Most of my work involves renovations or full-home projects, where there’s a need for structure, guidance, and someone to really carry the design from start to finish. I also welcome commercial projects aligned with the same goals!

WHAT I DO

As a full-service interior designer, I lead projects from concept through completion. That includes developing the design direction, refining layouts and material selections, working alongside architects and contractors, and overseeing details through construction and installation. My role is really to bring structure to the process so the design feels cohesive and every decision feels intentional.

The homes I design feel layered, lived in, and personal - collected over time, with just enough unexpected detail to make them feel real.
